Its not bad, it just threw a kink in the works. I suppose that's why I identify with being a "Plantster." One who has a plan, but also doesn't have a firm plan so you can be more flexible. (For me, that means, I have a good idea where I"m going, but I'm not entirely sure... SQUIRREL!)
All the same, the story is getting there. I'm making progress, and that's the important thing, right? To me, as long as you make serious progress on whatever you work on, you're a "winner" in NaNoWriMo. Its less about word count and more about getting the words out, on a page, and proving to yourself (or reminding yourself) that you can do it.
So stop reading this, close twitter and FB (yeah, we know you have them open), and go write something! At least five minutes. Then you can be distracted for another ten minutes or so.
Or is that just me? :)
